Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Maddox met with Licensee, Georgette Leday today for the purpose of conducting a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. This POC is conducted for the purpose assessing the citations issued on 3/29/2023 for lack of immunization records and for having a baby walker present in areas accessible to children (no child was observed sitting in the baby walker). Upon arrival, LPA counted 13 children (4 under the age of 2) with Andrea Pouchie, Licensee's Assistant.
During this inspection, LPA reviewed files for the 4 children present who were under age 2 (plus 1 additional file), All 5 files reviewed today contained immunization records, also, LPA did not observe any baby walkers (or similar item) present during this inspection. Citation issued on 3/29/23 has been cleared.

However, Per Health and Safety Code section 1597.465, A large family day care home may provide care for more than 12 children and up to and including 14 children, if all of the following conditions are met:
(a) At least one child is enrolled in and attending kindergarten or elementary school and a second child is at least six years of age. (b) No more than three infants are cared for during any time when more than 12 children are being cared for.
