32 | Off limit areas: All upstairs made inaccessible with safety mesh gate at the bottom of the stairs. Bedrooms #1 - #3, bathrooms #2 - #3, loft, laundry room (upstairs), bedroom #4 (downstairs) and garage.
Kitchen: Home has a clean and fully stocked refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, and water dispenser. LPA did not observe any chemicals and cleaning solutions during the inspection. Hazardous items, sharp knives and sharp utensils (inaccessible in kitchen’s top cabinet above microwave) that can pose danger to children. Licensee provides own meals, breakfast, lunch, snack and occasional dinner.
Bathroom: Children use the bathroom in hallway next to bedroom #4, and garage. LPA observed the bathroom, toilet, sink, and shower tub to be clean, sanitized, and free of hazards. The following are inaccessible: Sharp items, mouthwash, shampoos, razors, nail polish, etc. LPA observed toilet and faucet to be in operable condition. LPA observed cabinet underneath the sink to be inaccessible with safety latch. LPA did not observe any chemicals or poisons underneath sink cabinet.
Napping: Takes place in living room. Licensee provides cots, enough for children to nap on.
Outdoor: The outdoors was toured and inspected. The backyard is completely fenced (wooden fencing). The yard consists of cement, and wooden chips/mulch for proper playing. LPA observed patio furniture, one (1) slide structure, sturdy to the ground, Little Tikes plastic playing go-carts, bicycles, and tricycles, all age appropriate. LPA observed A.C. unit in the backyard with metal screening over the fan blades.
Advisory/Other: CPR/First Aid, Expires: (11/2/2026). Mandated reporter, Expired: (3/24/2027). Electrical outlets (are inaccessible with plastic plugs). Window blind cords are tied up high with clothespins. The smoke, carbon monoxide detectors and pull alarm system are in operable condition. First Aid kit was observed to be inside hallway closet next to children’s bathroom, full of supplies readily available. Fire extinguisher (2A40BC) is located underneath kitchen sink, fully charged with the needle in the green (inaccessible with safety latch). Per Licensee there is a weapons/firearm in the home, located upstairs in the off-limits master bedroom’s closet. LPA observed the firearm and ammunition stored safely and separately in two different combination safe boxes. Nobody smokes in the home. Per Licensee, transportation is only provided when needed.
LPA observed documents to be posted in a prominent, publicly accessible (License, PUB 394, Earthquake Preparedness, facility sketch, to be complete and current). Emergency Disaster Plan and verification of fire and earthquake drills (4/10/2026). Licensee conducted full emergency drill during the inspection. LPA observed the emergency drill taking place.
