25 | On 9/25/2021, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Carol Heath, conduct a Pre-Licensing inspection with Licensee, Victoria Silvera to ensure the facility meets basic licensing requirements set forth by Title 22, Health and Safety and statutory requirement. The licensee is requesting to provide care for a Small family childcare home for the capacity of 8 children. Currently, there are 2 adults (Licensee and her husband) and 3 children ( 9, 13 and 14 years old) living in the home. LPA toured the home indoor and out to ensure it meets FCCH requirements. Licensee is requesting the days and hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday 23 hours
The home is described as follows:
This is a single-story home consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room, laundry room, garage, and backyard. The off-limits areas: include bedrooms # 3 and #4 (child safety knobs), master bathroom #2, laundry room, the garage and backyard. There is a fireplace located in the living room which is made inaccessible to children with glass barrier screen.
Indoor:
· Main area
Playroom: Child care is to be provided in the one of the bedrooms (Bedroom #1) and living room. The home has central heating and air conditioning. All windows are free of cracks, bugs and debris. Hanging window blinds cords are inaccessible to children. LPA observed a play pen and 5 mats. Children will nap in this area.
Family room: There is a fireplace that is covered with a glass screen located in the Family room which is made inaccessible to children.
Bedroom #1: Per the licensee, this is her isolation area for ill or sick children. |
