25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Babatunde Ibitoye made an unannounced visit to the Silvera Family Child Care Home to conduct an Increase in the Capacity inspection. LPA met with Licensee Victoria Silvera. During the visit, LPA toured the home and grounds accessible to day-care children. Currently residing in the home is the Licensee, Spouse and 3 minor children. Main care is provided in the living room and play room at the entrance. Children use the bathroom next to the kitchen. Children will have access to the living room,play room,bathroom next to the kitchen and backyard. Off-limit areas include the entire Bedroom (Bedrooms #1, #2, #3, #4, bathrooms #2 all inaccessible with the door knob, laundry room and garage Inaccessible with child gate. Day-care equipment was evaluated.
There are no "bodies of water" or firearms in this home. Operable 2A10BC fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, and carbon monoxide detector are operable and in place. Central heat and air are available. LPA observed safe toys, safe indoor and outdoor play areas, and child safety plugs in unused electrical outlets, Cleaning compounds are stored away in the laundry area inaccessible to children. There is a fireplace located in the living room which is made inaccessible to children with glass barrier screen locked. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, and cleanliness.
