On 12/14/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carol Heath conducted a follow-up complaint inspection of the Ceron Family Child Care and met with the Licensee Julia Ceron. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver the findings for the above complaint allegations.

During the course of the investigation of this complaint, LPA Heath and LPA Kuliema conducted interviews with licensees and parents. Based on interviews, it was determined that the Licensee left a daycare child unattended while in care.

Based on the information obtained and the licensee’s statement, there is a preponderance of evidence to prove that the Licensee left a daycare child unattended in the van and supervised 12 children by herself without an assistant. Therefore, the above allegation is Substantiated.
Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with the Licensee and deficiencies were cited.
Exit interview conducted and the report was reviewed with the Licensee, Julia Ceron.
