32 | Off-limits: Living room, Bedrooms #1 - #4, bathroom #2, Kitchen/dining, big portion of backyard separated by fencing, (pool area, volleyball, basketball area, garage and separate storage dwelling (with room and bathroom).
Kitchen: Home has a clean and fully stocked refrigerator/freezer, stove, and microwave. LPA did not observe any chemicals and cleaning solutions during the inspection. Hazardous items, sharp knives and sharp utensils (inaccessible in kitchen’s upper cabinet to the left of stove) that can pose danger to children. Licensee serves Breakfast, lunch and snacks. LPA observed three (3) age-appropriate children’s eating table, and three (3) toddlers highchairs.
Bathroom: Shower/tub free of hazards. The following are inaccessible: Sharp items, mouthwash, shampoo, razor, and nail polish, etc. The toilet and faucet are clean and operable. LPA did not observe any chemicals. LPA observed the cabinet underneath the sink with a latch.
Napping: Takes place in the family/childcare room. Licensee provides playpens and napping cots, enough for children to nap. LPA observed one sleep log for the infant in care. Two playpens’ were observed for infant sleep.
Outdoor: The yard was toured and inspected. The backyard is completely fenced (Brick and vinyl fencing). Children’s playing area (side yard) is gated from the rest of the off-limit yard. The yard consists of turf, and brick flooring proper playing. The outdoor play area for the children had play equipment that was age appropriate (Little Tikes slide sets and climbing wooden structure). There is one detached shade shed structure upon entering backyard and trees providing shade. There is a separate storage dwelling room located in the backyard to the right. There is a trampoline (about 3 ft high from the ground) that is off limits to day care children. LPA observed an attached shed structure to the left of the yard with, BBQ grill, gym equipment and bicycles. There is a volleyball area with turf flooring, and a basketball court which are off limits to the day care children. There is an in-ground pool in the backyard, the pool was surrounded by wrought iron fencing that is at least 5 ft high, the gate opens away from the pool and there is a spring closure in place and self-latches which are at least 4 ft from the bottom. LPA observe additional safety measures in place (pool alarm, 12 ft fix pole with body ring, 17 inch in diameter life ring, and safety pool log).
