25 | On March 19, 2025 at 09:25am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Zirbes met with Licensee Tamara Aguirre. The purpose of the inspection was to conduct a Annual/Random inspection and a capacity increase inspection at the licensed facility. The home was granted a fire clearance on February 18, 2025. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the Licensee. When LPA arrived to the facility, the Licensee and adult 1 (A1) were providing supervision to five children (one infant and four preschool age children). Two of the Licensees children who are over age 10 were also present at the time of the inspection. During the inspection one additional infant arrived to care. Current days and hours of operation are 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Physical Plant: This is a single story home with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room, garage with front yard and back yard with an in-ground pool. Off-limits areas: Bedroom 1, bathroom 1 (located in bedroom 1) , garage, and a portion of the backyard. The off limit areas were inaccessible via child safety door knob covers, and locked doors. On limits: Bedrooms (2,3,4), Bathroom 2 (located in hallway), kitchen, living room, dining room, and a portion of the yard. According to the Licensee, currently residing in the home is the licensee, and four children.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medicines and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. According to Licensee and LPA observations, all cleaning products are stored in kitchen cabinets, bathroom 2 cabinets and in the off limit areas of the home. The cabinets were equipped with child safety locks. Sharp knives were stored in a kitchen cabinet equipped with child safety locks. According to the Licensee household medications were stored in the off limits bedroom.
Safe and age appropriate toys, play equipment and materials were present. Smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were tested and observed to be in working order at the time of this inspection. Per Licensee no one smokes in the home. Report continued on page two |
