32 | LPA’s observed safe and age-appropriate toys, play equipment, furniture, materials, and no baby bouncer’s saucer chairs or any recalled or prohibited toys or sleep/play equipment were observed on the premises.
Off limit areas: Include Bedrooms #1 - #5, bathroom #2, laundry room (hallway) kitchen (metal gates), and garage (inaccessible with safety doorknob).
Kitchen: Home has a clean and fully stocked refrigerator/freezer. No chemicals in the kitchen were observed to be accessible. Cleaning supplies are in both (off limits laundry room’s top cabinet, and hallway closet). Licensee is part of the food program, providing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
Bathroom: Bathtub/shower is free of hazards. The following are inaccessible: Sharp items, mouthwash, shampoo, razor, nail polish. Toilet and faucet are clean and operable. No cabinets underneath sink.
Napping: Licensee provides appropriate napping equipment, cots and playpen, enough for children to nap. LPA’s observed one changing table. No recorded sleep log. LPA's reminded licensee to continue monitoring sleep until child turn 24 months. Licensee was under the impression that monitoring stops at 12 months. LPA's will assess one Technical Violation.
Outdoor: The backyard is completely fenced all around (chain-link fence). Yard is composed of concrete and dirt (sand like) flooring for safe playing. All playing areas have dirt and rubber mats to soften any falls. LPA observed three (3) dogs. Per licensee, the dogs interact with children in care. LPA’s observed shot records to be up to date, expiring on 2027. The play area is clear and clean with debris, a jungle gym climbing structure sturdy to the ground, and a swing/slide structure which is anchored to the ground, and other age-appropriate toys observed to be free of hazards. LPA’s observed one storage shed (inaccessible with key lock), and plenty of shaded areas. LPA’s Observed one air conditioning unit inaccessible with a protective mesh screening over the unit, and BBQ grill inaccessible with protective cover.
Advisory/Other: Staff #2 CPR/First Aid, Expires: (5/12/2027). Mandated reporter, Expires: (2/18/2028). Electrical outlets (are inaccessible with plastic plugs). LPA’s observed window cords to be accessible to children. Licensee was reminded to secure cords up high. Per Licensee, cords were secure with tacks but fell off. The smoke, carbon monoxide detectors, and alarm system are in operable condition. First Aid kit was observed to be full of supplies readily available in children’s playroom. Fire extinguisher (2A10BC), fully charged with the needle in the green (last served 1/20/2026). Per licensee, there are no weapons in the premises, and nobody smokes in the home. Transportation provided when needed, Incidental Medical Services (IMS), are not being provided currently.
