25 | On December 4, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annelise Villa met with Licensee Barbara Wright who guided analysts on a tour of the facility for the random annual inspection and requested capacity increase. The requested capacity is 14. The fire department has granted a fire clearance. Licensee is advised that as a family childcare home operating at full capacity, she must adhere to the large family childcare ratio. LPA reviewed large FCCH ratio with Licensee. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 0 children in care. Family members living in the home are Licensee, 1 adult child, and 1 adult child. Hours of operation are provided 23 hours a day, Monday through Sunday. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. No children in the daycare with IMS.
Physical Plant: This is a two-story house with 7 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms, living room, family room, dining area laundry room, kitchen, attached garage, and front/back yards. There are no pools/spas or bodies of water on the premises. Main care is provided in the family room. Children use the bathroom located in the hallway. Accessible areas include family room, dining area, bathroom #1.
Off limit areas include bedrooms #1-7, bathroom #2 and #3, kitchen, laundry room, front yard, and garage. The attached garage was observed to be locked during the time of this inspection. The garage is used for storage only and is garage is off limits to children. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, clean and orderly, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, and medicines. Hazardous items (sharp knives are stored in an upper kitchen cabinet, cleaning detergents/compounds are stored underneath the kitchen sink, and per Licensee, there are no medication in the home) are inaccessible to children in care.
