25 | On January 21, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Cha met with Licensee Lanre Orepo Oluranti. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random inspection of the facility. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the licensee. LPA observed licensee and assistant providing care and supervision to two infants and nine preschool-aged children. The current hours and days of operation are Mondays through Fridays; 6:00am-6:00pm.
Physical Plant: This is a two-story home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, family room, garage, side yard, and backyard. Main child care is provided in the family room, living room, bedroom #1, bathroom #1, and backyard. The off-limit areas are the entire second floor (three bedrooms, two bathrooms, garage, kitchen, and side yard.
Indoor/Children’s Area: LPA inspected the indoor/children’s area for safety, cleanliness and good repair. LPA observed and tested the carbon monoxide and smoke alarm. LPA observed the fire extinguisher (2A10BC), fully green and the First Aid Kit. Per licensee, there are no firearms/weapons on the premises. Per Licensee, there is no smoking in the home. LPA did not observe any pets at the facility. The fireplace is barricaded by a large play structure. Per licensee, fireplace is not used. LPA observed preschool children provided with cots and infants with cribs for napping.
Bathroom: LPA observed the childcare bathroom. The toilet and faucet are in good operable condition. LPA reminded licensee to keep all hazardous items inaccessible to children.
Kitchen: LPA inspected the kitchen for safety, sanitation, and good repair. Licensee participates in the food program and provides all meals during operational hours. LPA observed the refrigerator and freezer in working condition. The knives and sharp items stored in kitchen cabinet. The kitchen made inaccessible by a child safety gate.
