32 | Per licensee when a child becomes ill, the isolation area is in the living room near the from until the parent can pick up the child. Per licensee there are no pool, spas, or bodies of water on the premises.
Off-limit areas – Bedrooms #2 - #4, bathroom #2, laundry/garage (inaccessible with knob latches), kitchen (inaccessible with safety gates) and backyard.
Bathroom: Children use the bathroom to the right of the living room. The bathroom was toured and inspected; sink/toilet are operable. The bathroom was clean, sanitized, and in good repair. LPA observed shampoos in the shower to be accessible, and cabinet underneath sink was accessible (broken safety latch). LPA observed lotions, and mouthwash underneath sink. Per licensee, spouse will repair asap, and provide proof once fixed.
Off – Limit, Kitchen: LPA observed a refrigerator/freezer, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Sharp items knives (are inaccessible in kitchen upper cabinet above microwave), The home has a clean fully stocked refrigerator/freezer. No chemicals in the kitchen were observed to be accessible. Licensee is part of the food program, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.
Napping: Licensee provides appropriate napping equipment, cots and playpens, enough for children to nap.
Outdoor: Per licensee, the backyard is currently inaccessible, while some maintenance is done. The backyard was observed to have an attached pergola shed structure and natural trees providing shade and fenced all around (brick wall). There is rubber flooring and concrete areas for active play. Age - appropriate playing equipment (Little Tikes), and animals such as ducks, hens, and rooster (all inaccessible in their enclosure).
Advisory/Other: Staff #1, CPR/First Aid, Expires: (5/26/2028). Mandated reporter, Expires: (5/24/2028). Electrical outlets (are inaccessible with plastic plugs). Windows have no blinds or cords. The smoke, carbon monoxide detectors and fire alarm are in operable condition. First Aid kit was observed to be full of supplies readily available in living room closet. Fire extinguisher (2A10BC), fully charged with the needle in the green is also located in living room closet. Per licensee, there are no weapons in the premises, and nobody smokes in the home. Transportation is provided if needed. Per licensee, there is one small pet dog (Frenchie) which is vaccinated and does not interact with children in care. LPA observed a bunny (caged) and bird (caged) in off- limit kitchen. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) are not being provided currently.
