On Friday, January 9, 2026, at 10:10am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giovanni Cristales conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude a complaint investigation. LPA met with Director Brea Reid. The purpose of the inspection is to deliver the findings regarding the above complaint allegations. Upon arrival, LPA toured the facility and observed 2 classrooms in use with a total of 23 preschool children (Acorn & Seedlings, 2-3 yrs old, 11 children, and Small Oaks & Big Oaks, 4-5 yrs old, 12 children). There were 4 teachers on the premises, cook/floater, and the director. LPA observed the classrooms to be within ratio. All staff have been fingerprinted and associated with the designated license number. This center has two separate buildings, the preschool occupies the front area of the center, and the school age component (367750002) occupies the rear part of the main area and the detached building (not in use) located towards the front of the street. The hours of operation are 6:30am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday.

day care children are provided with bedding for napping). LPA completed interviews with staff, parents, and children. All interviewers denied such allegations. Staff reported that there are extra bedding, blankets and sheets for all children. Parents and children were able to identify the type of bedding used for napping. All parents interviews reported that they provide their own blankets and sheets. Per record review there were zero incidents regarding proper bedding reported to the Department.

(Allegation #2, Staff serve expired food). All relevant party interviews denied such allegations. Per LPA observation during the recent annual inspection on 12/10/2025, all inspected food items were up to date. Parents and children interviews reported no sickness or allergies due to expired food.

(Allegation #3, Staff does not ensure facility has adequate food supply). All relevant party interviews denied such allegations. Staff reported that there is adequate food supply. If it runs low, food is purchased the same day.

(Allegation #4, Staff does not ensure facility bathroom is clean). Staff reported that bathrooms are cleaned daily, and parent observation also reported the bathrooms are kept clean.

(Allegation #5, Staff does not ensure facility floor is clean). Staff denied such allegations. Staff reported the floor being cleaned daily, and the center having a cleaning crew. Based on record review, LPA observed the contract and the name of the company.

(Allegation #6, Staff does not ensure playground is free of animal feces). All relevant interviews deny such allegations. Staff reported that the playground is cleaned daily and that the center also contracts a gardener. During the inspections, LPA did not observe animal feces in the playground.

Based on confidential interviews, record review, and LPA observations, the allegations alleging, Staff does not ensure day care children are provided bedding for napping, Staff serve expired food, Staff does not ensure facility has adequate food supply, Staff does not ensure facility bathroom is clean, Staff does not ensure facility bathroom is clean, Staff does not ensure facility floor is clean, and Staff does not ensure playground is free of animal feces. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation(s) are Unsubstantiated.
