- First Aid supplies, smoke detector, carbon monoxide and fire extinguishers were observed and in operable condition. Medications are locked and stored inside of a cabinet in the site supervisor's work space. Trash cans with tight lids were observed.
- Children files were reviewed and found to be complete. The facility roster (via bright wheel) and fire drills were up to date, and all staff have been fingerprinted and associated to the designated license number. The last fire and emergency disaster drill documented was on 02/23/2022.
NAPPING
· Cots used for napping were maintained in a safe condition.
· Each cot was equipped with a sheet to cover the cot or mat and a sheet and/or blanket to cover the child.
· LPA informed applicant Cots or mats should be wiped with a detergent/disinfectant weekly or when soiled or wet.
· Bedding/Linen is stored in each child's individual back packs.
HEALTH RELATED SERVICES:
Medications shall be kept in a safe place inaccessible to children.
A refrigerator is available to store any medication that requires refrigeration.
Director has implemented a written plan to record the administration of prescription and nonprescription medications and to inform the child's authorized representative daily when such medications have been given.
