32 | During interviews with daycare children, no children indicated that they had felt levels of heat in the classrooms which had made them feel unusual discomfort. During interviews with daycare parents, six (6) out of seven (7) parents stated no concern for classroom temperatures, while one parent stated that they had been made aware by staff of a classroom being uncomfortably hot. During LPA's tour of facility and classrooms during the heat wave, classrooms were observed to be within the range specified in regulations.
Based on interviews conducted and LPA observations, there is a lack of evidence available to be able to draw definitive conclusions. Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore it is determined that the above allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
