32 | LPAs observed a total of 11 sinks, 12 toilets and 3 urinal available for the preschool children. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 132 children.
The staff restroom is located near room 108 that is also use when a child is ill.
The facility currently has a fully fenced playground areas. The front playground has a wrought iron fencing that is at least four feet high and the middle concrete and turf playground has a vinyl and wrought iron fencing that is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space was previously measured to be 4906.53 square feet, which is only sufficient to accommodate up to 65 children at one time. Facility has an approved outdoor playground waiver in file. Shade is provided via umbrella and tree shade at the front playground and the middle cement/turf playground has a large sail shade and the building. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is a climbing structure on the front playground for children ages 2 to 12. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climber provided by wood chips. Drinking water is available via the children's own water bottles. LPAs observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Director was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

The following items shall be submitted to Licensing within 10 days.
- Submit an updated playground schedule for the current classrooms.
- Submit an updated LIC309 Administrative Organization.
Facility is approved to use the two new classrooms 110 and 112 effective today.
A notice of site visit was given to the Director and it must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. |
