25 | On 11/6/23 at 11:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Martha Malane arrived at the facility to conduct a case management inspection for the purpose of a capacity decrease and to remove the current TLC3 classroom from the license and change the name of Room 5 to TLC3.. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Nicole Hage and was led on a tour of the facility. There were 68 children and 13 staff members present. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm.
The facility is requesting a capacity decrease to 90 preschool children, ages 2-Kindergarten. Classrooms 1, 2, 3, 4, TLC1, TLC2, TLC3 (formerly room 5) were inspected and previously measured a total of square 5055 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Classrooms were equipped with age-appropriate furniture, including cots for napping, tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves and other materials for children. There are eight (8) toilets and 12 sinks for children’s use, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity.
The outdoor activity space was inspected and measured a total of 9527.55 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity.
No deficiencies cited.
The following is required:
1. Panel on outdoor activity space secured
2. Updated fire clearance
A capacity decrease to 90 preschool children, ages 2-Kindergarten in classrooms Classrooms 1, 2, 3, 4, TLC1, TLC2, TLC3 (formerly room 5) may be granted after the above requirements are met and a final file review.
Exit interview conducted with Director, Nicole Hage. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's date. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
