25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Debbie Correia conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. Upon arrival, LPA Correia met with Caregiver Shalabi, identified herself, was granted entry into the facility, and explained the purpose of the visit.
According to the facility’s license, the maximum capacity is six (6) clients, with allowance for two (2) non-ambulatory individuals. By the time the inspection was completed all six (6) clients were present and two (2) staff members.
LPA Correia, accompanied by Caregiver Shalabi, conducted a comprehensive tour of the facility. All rooms were inspected and found to be clean, sanitary, and in good repair. Pathways were clear of obstructions and slip hazards. Client bedrooms were equipped with the required furnishings. Doors, windows, screens, toilets, and showers were all operational. The facility was stocked with extra linens, hygiene supplies, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Adequate space and equipment were available to support dining, laundry, visitation, meetings, and client activities. Ambient indoor temperature and hot water temperature were within licensing guidelines.
