25 | On today's date 03/29/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Javina George made an unannounced visit at the facility for the purpose of conducting a health and safety check. LPA met with Licensee Manuel Vasquez, and explained the purpose of the visit.
At the time of the visit there was (1) staff and zero resident's present, as they were at the day program.
LPA conducted a tour of the facility's interior and exterior. The facility was observed for the home to still be in process of getting some renovations, as the licensee is painting the rooms and moving around some of the bedroom furniture.
To accommodate with the facilities staffing needs. Resident # 1 (R1) will continue to go between the two facilities, including spend the night at the Sister facility until the facility receives the health and safety waiver which would in turn increase the opportunity for additional staffing that is needed. Per the Licensee R1 moving to the home on a permanent basis is in process, they have an upcoming meeting with the treatment team to finalize the move. The status of R1's medications remains the same, as they are currently being stored at the Sister facility Casa Del Sol RTF #374603419.
LPA observed the facility's food supply to be low as LPA did not observe a 2 day supply of perishable and a 7 day supply of non-perishable food items. Per Licensee Vazquez, grocery shopping will be completed and a proof of grocery purchases will be sent to LPA no later than Saturday 3/30/24 by 5pm. Per Licensee additional items were not purchased as residents are currently occupying the residence, as evidenced R1 staying at the Sister facility. The facility's utilities such as electricity, gas and water were observed to be operable. There were no health and safety concerns observed during LPAs visit.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to Licensee, Manuel Vasquez. |
