25 | On 3/20/2025, at 09:20 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Keely Messerschmidt and Jesse Gardner conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Director Miriam Moreno as they are requesting to increase their capacity for preschool children from 66 to 105. Upon completion of today’s visit, the facility measured for an increased capacity of 39 preschool children in classroom #1-4.
Hours of operation will be listed as Monday through Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Present during today’s inspection were (45) children with (5) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Director Miriam Moreno that staff are required to always maintain direct visual supervision of the children during indoor and outdoor activities.
LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured for classrooms #1-4 was 3880.05 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 39 additional children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available indoors and outdoors via filtered water and children bring their own individual water bottles. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on February 20, 2025.
