On 11/6/25, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced initial 10-Day inspection for a complaint received on 3/5/26. The LPA met with the Director, Karyne Begin. There were 30 children and 8 staff present today. Based on observation, file review and staff interviews, there was not enough evidence to support the above allegation. During staff interviews, it was found that while there is toileting available in the Toddler Play area, it is used for urgent bathroom use to prevent potty accidents. The facility provides a restroom in the building for children. The outdoor toileting area contains gloves provided for staff and soap and water available for hand washing for staff and children. The Toddler play area offers toileting in case of urgency for the children in care, but it is not a required regulation. LPA conducted an unannounced inspection of the Toddler Outdoor Play area and observed the changing table and portable potty to be clean and sanitary. During staff interviews, there was not enough evidence to show that staff do not clean their hands after helping children with toileting. LPA also observed cleaning solution and disinfectant available at the changing station in between uses. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not enough evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the above allegation is found to be Unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited today. A copy of this report and appeal rights were given. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
