32 | The facility currently has a fully fenced detached playground located at the other side of the parking lot. Fencing includes chain link and wrought iron material that is at least four feet high. The toddler outdoor activity space measured to be 1122.26 square feet, which is only sufficient for 14 children at one time, insufficient for the number of children being requested. The preschool outdoor activity space measured to be 1015.21 square feet, which is only sufficient for 13 children at one time, insufficient for the number of children being requested. A playground waiver to share the playground at different times in the AM and PM due to limited square footage shall be submitted and approved prior to the approval of the capacity increase. Shade is provided via pop up canopy shades located at both playgrounds. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is a climbing structure on the toddler playground that appears to be age appropriate for toddlers’ children. There is sufficient turf cushioning in fall zones of climber. Drinking water is available via the children’s own water bottles that the facility washes for the children and are kept at the facility. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Licensee was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.

A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
