Mandated Reporter Training AB 1207 was completed 6/2/22. Staff #4 mandated reporter training was completed 9/1/22. Staff #4 has no TB test results on file. Staff #3 does not have TB test, immunizations, or mandated reporter training certificate on file. Licensees meet immunization requirements. All required documents were posted. Last disaster drill was conducted 9/15/23.
Licensee has provided adequate space for the children to eat, sleep and play within the home. Licensee uses the following rooms for childcare: kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The following areas will be off limits: hallway leading to back bedroom, all bedrooms, and two storage sheds in backyard which are inaccessible using locks and latches. Licensee was reminded to ensure that all hazardous items and off-limits areas must be made inaccessible to children in care whenever they are present. There is a working fire extinguisher rated 3A40BC, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are present and operational. There is adequate heating and ventilation in the home. Adequate heating, lighting, and ventilation is provided for day-care children. Children’s toys, play equipment and materials are available. Licensee states there are no firearms or weapons in the home. Entrance Checklist was provided to the Licensee.
Provider is hereby reminded of the following: Report suspected child abuse and neglect, maintain children’s records according to regulation, post all required forms, ensure that all adults living or working in the home have criminal background clearances associated to the facility, corporal punishment, smoking, exersaucers, bouncy seats, walkers, and jumpers are not allowed in day care. All equipment that is used should be used only as intended by the manufacturer. LPA and Licensee discussed California Megan's Law and LPA provided: www.meganslaw.ca.gov.
