25 | On 9/27/2022 @ 9:45 a.m., LPA Joelle Redding conducted an announced visit for the purpose of a change of location preliensing inspection. Applicant's friend, Bill Toma assisted with translation. Control of property has been verifited. LPA confirmed with that all adults living in the home have been fingerprint cleared and associated with the facility and have met all the immunization requirements. Applicant has completed the required 16-hr. Health and Safety training to include a Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificate with Amerimed, valid through 8/24 and is currently exempt from Mandated Reporter Training as Applicant speaks Caldean.
A tour of the home was conducted. The home is one story home, 3 bed, two bath home with a one-car garage and a pool. Applicant will use the main living areas, two children's bedrooms and hallway bathroom. Off limints areas have made inaccessible with the use of door knob covers. Applicant was reminded that all items that indicate "keep out of reach of children" are to be made inaccessible. None were noted. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector are operational. The fire extinguisher meets Licensing regulation size (2A10BC or larger), is fully charged, easily accessible, and located in the kitchen . There is a sufficient amount of age-appropriate toys, books and games for children, in good condition. There are no firearms, weapons or ammunition on the premises. The back yard is fully fenced with an empty pool.
LPA reminded Applicant of the following: capacity limitations, supervision, emergency drills, child passenger law, unusual incidents, mandated reporting. Applicant understands that smoking in or around day care areas is prohibited. Children's records and roster were reviewed and all found to be complete and current.
