25 | On 2/21/25 at 2:40 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Mahjoba Mohsini conducted an unannounced comprehensive annual inspection with the Licensee. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Jiabo Wang and provided the Inspection Checklist (LIC126).
The two-story home was toured and inspected to ensure an environment safe for the care and supervision of children. Present were the Licensee, Licensee’s mother ( Xiaohang Wang) and 6 day-care children including Licensee’s child and the age ranges from 23 months to 30 months of age. Children were napping during the start of the inspection. LPA observed after nap time, children were provided snacks (Xiaohang Wang prepared snack) followed by circle time with Licensee reading to them in Chinese and proceeded to out door activities in the fenced backyard.
The fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, and smoke detector meet requirements and are operational. All hazardous items were latched/locked and secured out of reach of children. There are no bodies of water on the property. Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. A review of staff records on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse clearances or exemptions. Licensee has an assistant (Liwei Liu) who was not present at the facility during the inspection.
Licensee is using the following rooms for childcare: daycare room, Applicant will be using the Playroom, Nook area, Bedroom #1 for napping, Bathroom #1, and Backyard for childcare. Off limit areas are Family room (fireplace is barricaded), Kitchen, Garage, and entire upstairs (stairs are barricaded) and are inaccessible by use of safety gates and doorknob latches. The applicant has sufficient toys and equipment available. Applicants is using back yard for outdoor activities. The back yard is fully fenced, and the outdoor fireplace is barricaded. There is a working phone at the facility. The Licensee has sufficient age appropriate and safe toys/equipment available.
