25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Saraliz Velando and Sharon Mendez conducted an unannounced annual inspection with a case management to add a room (Bedroom 2). LPAs were greeted by Josefina Curiel. LPAs were granted entry after identifying themselves and disclosing the purpose of the visit. There were 3 children and one helper present today. The 2 bedroom, 1-bathroom, 1 story home was toured and inspected to ensure an environment safe for the care and supervision of children.
Licensee uses the Family room, Dining room, Kitchen, Bathroom #1, Bedroom 2, and backyard for childcare. Off limit areas are Bedroom #1 and Garage and they are inaccessible by use of safety gates. The applicant has sufficient toys and equipment available. Applicant uses the fully fenced back yard for outdoor activities.
The fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, and smoke detector meet requirements and are operational. All hazardous items were latched/locked and secured out of reach of children. There were no bodies of water observed on the property. Applicant states that there are no weapons in the home and LPAs did not observe any Mandated Reporter Training expires on 12/27/25.

No deficiencies were cited today. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Josefina Curiel. Appeal Rights were given along with the report. A Notice of Site Visit was posted and shall remain for 30 days. |
