13 | On 7/2/25 at 11:15 a.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Renita Rodriguez made an unannounced complaint visit for the complaint received on 4/23/25 for the purpose of delivering findings on the above reference allegation. LPA was granted entry after identifying self, showing badge, and disclosing the reason for the visit. Ratios observed 18 infants and 5 staff.
Based on the information obtained during interviews, observations, and documentation reviewed it is determined that staff is aware that any child in care is to not be forced to sleep. Instead, staff may gently soothe or hold a child to help them rest. However, if an infant shows signs that they do not wish to sleep, they are not pressured. In such cases, the child may be placed safely on a mat where they can engage in quiet play or crawl, while other children continue napping. This approach respects each child's individual needs and supports a nurturing environment. |
