On 09/11/2025 at 8:10am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adriana Macias conducted an unannounced complaint visit to deliver findings on above allegations. The Vine located at 6752/6760 N Elman St, San Diego Ca 92111, has officially closed as of 08/07/2025. LPA met with the Vine Site Administrator Elizabeth Becker at VINE 1 located at 2130 Ulric St. San Diego Ca 92111 and discussed reason for visit. Per administrator, all parents were notified about the closure of the facility on July 10th, 2025.
Based on LPA’s observations during initial complaint inspection, Staff interviews, and parent interviews, there was not enough evidence to support the claims mentioned. None of the 9 people interviewed raised concerns about staff not providing adequate supervision, staff not safeguarding child’s personal belongings or any other topic. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred, therefore the above allegations are found to be Unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility administrator Elizabeth Becker. A notice of site visit was issued.
