On 8/29/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings for complaint received on 7/10/24. The LPA met with Owner, Rafat (Rocky) Ilaian and toured the facility. There were 8 preschool children present and 2 staff at the facility.
LPA Velando obtained information from observation, file reviews, parent interviews, and staff interviews, it was undetermined that facility staff served food that caused an illness to children in care and that staff files are incomplete. LPA interviewed children, staff, and parents and there was no evidence to prove that there was any food brought or served at the facility that would cause an illness to children in care. LPA also reviewed all staff files at an unannounced inspection and did not find any evidence that staff files are incomplete. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is no corroborating evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred. The preponderance of the evidence has not been met and therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
The exit interview was conducted with Owner, Rafat (Rocky) Ilaian. Appeal Rights and a copy of the licensing report was provided. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
