On 5/12/23 at 1:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keturah Lane conducted an unannounced complaint visit for the complaint received on 2/27/23 for the purpose of delivering findings on the above referenced allegations. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Dolores Guadarrama and toured the facility. Census was 49 children in 3 classrooms with 5 staff members during naptime. LPA observed appropriate ratio, capacity and supervision by staff members during the visit. LPA observed the temperature in the facility to be comfortable and within regulation. LPA inspected playgrounds and observed no hazards. It was alleged that staff did not allow a day care child to nap and did not provide a comfortable temperature for day care children. Based upon information obtained during LPA observations and interviews with enrolled children, staff members and parents of enrolled children it is determined that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations occurred therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility representative Director Dolores Guadarrama. Notice of Site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
