On 08/23/2022 at 12:05pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao, conducted an announced Pre-Licensing inspection. The initial inspection was conducted by LPA on 08/08/22. LPA met with Site Director Robin Brust. The purpose of today's inspection is to ensure that the facility is in compliance and for the purpose of capacity increase from 40 to 60 children.

The School-Age Program will operate in the following classrooms: 45B, auditorium multi-purpose room, music room and activity room located next to the auditorium. The children will be eating at the lunch arbor area located outside of auditorium. There is an operating carbon monoxide detector inside the music/office room.

All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the school age children was previously inspected. This school age program is exempt from square footage requirements per Health and Safety code 1596.806.

ยท Outdoor areas will be the blue play structure and red play structure and the black top area. The play structures are age appropriate for children ages 5-12 years old. Facility representative understands that children under 5 year old should not be on the play structure per manufacture recommendation.

The carpet in the auditorium and the connected rooms carpet has been cleaned and outdoor play equipment has been purchased and it's stored in the program's office cabinet.
Fire clearance for 60 children was granted on 08/22/2022.

Facility appears to be within substantial compliance and a license for 60 children will be granted effective today.
