Facility requires all parents to bring their children snacks for the PM, however facility will maintain extra snacks in case someone forgets. Cleaning supplies and other toxics are inaccessible to children through latches, locks and/or placed on high surfaces. Due to the facility sharing Room B8 with the school district at separate hours, Ms. D'Amico is reminded to ensure a room check is conducted prior to having children present to ensure that anything that reads, “Keep Out of Reach of Children” is inaccessible to children. Drinking water is readily accessible via Brita filter and refillable water bottles.
LPA reviewed with Ms. D'Amico the LIC 311A, Records to Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted.
Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
