On 5/24/24 at 2:15 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sherlynn Banas conducted an unannounced Case Management – Licensee Initiated inspection regarding play structure repair. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Melissa Amador. Present in the center were 6 day care children. The children were scheduled half day every Friday.

LPA Banas toured the facility. There were 4 classrooms; Preschool 1 (no children present), Preschool 2 (no children present), Kinder Prep 1 (6 children), and Kinder Prep 2 (no children). Kinder Prep 1 is used as an extended care classroom until 5:30 PM. There were 4 teachers present and all were fingerprint cleared.

Director submitted documents and pictures of the before and after repair of the play structure. LPA Banas inspected the play structure and took pictures of it. The play structure has a sign that states it is for 2-5 years age appropriate. The cushioning is sufficient and well padded. It is in good condition and safe to use.

No deficiency observed during the visit. Play structure is approved and safe to use.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Melissa Amador. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
