On 08/26/2026 at 4:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adriana Macias conducted an unannounced inspection for the purpose of delivering findings on a complaint received on 07/16/2026, with above allegations. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by Acting Director Kelly Massey and toured the facility. A total of 11 infants with 4 staff, 5 toddlers with 2 staff and 8 preschoolers with 2 staff were observed with appropriate capacity and ratios. All staff have been fingerprinted.

It was alleged that a staff member does not treat children with respect, including yelling at and threatening them. Based on LPA observations and interviews with staff, parents, and children, there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations. Only 2 of 17 individuals interviewed reported concerns regarding respect or threats, and 6 of 17 reported that staff yell at children.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the above allegations are found to be Unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Acting Director Kelly Massey. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
