32 | The total toddler outdoor square footage is 1,805 sq. ft., insufficient for the number of children being requested. Toddler outdoor play space can only accommodate 24 children at a time, however facility is requesting to be licensed for 30 toddlers. Director stated that she would like to update the request to only be licensed for 24 toddlers so that no waiver is needed at this time. The total preschool outdoor square footage is 7,050 sq. ft., which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Shade is provided via a mixture of the building, trees, and shade structures/canopies. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playgrounds. There are multiple climbing structures throughout the playgrounds which were observed to be properly anchored and age appropriate for the children that are designated to be in the area.
