25 | On April 24, 2023 at 9:46 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ana Noble and William Chancellor and Licensing Program Managers (LPMs) Pauline Beschorner and Deborah Mullen arrived at the facility to conducted Case Management Inspection at combination center with Preschool and Infant licenses. LPAs and LPMs met with Nikki Boles to provide the purpose of the inspections to measure both the Infant classroom and Preschool Classroom due to changes made by the Licensee to the use of Indoor and Outdoor spaces, and is requesting to remove the Toddler Option Program. Facility Sketch will need to be submitted for Preschool and Infant
Preschool Indoor Activity
Room #1-5 = Total indoor activity space: 1486 divided by 35 = 42 children.
Preschool Outdoor Activity
Current licensed Playgrounds - Playground #1 (Larger) and Playground #2 (Next to Room #1). Waiver required to use Playgrounds 1 and 2 on a scheduled basis, no more than 63 children at any given time.
Areas NOT currently licensed:
Deck #1 and Deck #2=1038.20 divided by 75 = 13, Licensee agrees to make the recommended changes to deck # 1 the fencing (bars no more than 4 inches), lower the entry to the upper deck, clear all of the storage in this area and make electrical wiring inaccessible. In Deck #2-fencing to meet the minimum height of 4 feet high and the bars no more than 4 inches apart.
Based on the changes made, LPA Noble has determined that Indoor Activity space Classroom #1-5 has sufficient space for 42 Preschool Children. The Outdoor Activity space there is sufficient space for 63 on Playground 1-2.
Licensee-Nikki Boles, was informed that prior to any changes made to physical plants both indoor and outdoor to areas used by children requires a Case Management inspection by the Department prior to implementing an changes. |
