25 | On July 20, 2022 at 9:36 am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Jessica Rubio and Ana Noble arrived at the facility to conduct an inspection for an increase in capacity from 15 children to a requested capacity of 22 children. LPA's measured the preschool areas. LPA's also inspected and measured the school aged and preschool playground area that has now been divided by a fence to facilitate the school age and preschool children to be able to utilize each side of the playground at the same time. The facility previously had a waiver for a shared playground space for preschool and school aged children at alternating times. The additional space in preschool room #2 has partition walls. LPA's advised Director Maribel Hadnot that the partition must always remain in place. Director stated that she would also mark the carpet with tape where the partition is placed.
Measurements were taken and the following was determined:
Indoor Activity Areas - Preschool Room #2.
LPAs have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate 21 children.
Outdoor Activity Area - Preschool Playground
LPAs have determined that there is sufficient space to accommodate the above capacity.
Bathroom Fixtures
2 toilets x 15 = 30 children 2 sinks x 15 = 30 children (1 additional sink was newly installed)
Limiting factor for Preschool Program capacity is indoor space of 21 Children. The Fire Clearance was granted on 7/12/2022. Preschool capacity is limited to 21 children.
An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights were discussed and a copy of this report was provided to Director Maribel Hadnot. A notice of site visit was also provided and must remain posted for 30 days. |
