25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Chancellor conducted an unannounced annual inspection for Quiroz family childcare at the above home on February 25, 2026, at 8:25 AM. LPA met with Licensee Natalia Quiroz, who guided LPA on a tour of the home. Daycare children were not present during LPA inspection. LPA verified that no children are currently enrolled at this time.
The facility operates Monday- Friday 7:00AM- 5:00PM. Off-limit areas include, the entire kitchen, laundry room, entire second story, including two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Off-limit areas have child safety gates, making them inaccessible to children. The facility is licensed as a small Family Child Care Home (FCCH) with a maximum capacity of eight children.
A working cell phone is available, and the current phone number on file is correct. A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed, along with a functioning smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were tested by the Licensee. The fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children, and all hazardous items, including toxins, are stored securely and are inaccessible to children. No weapons are present, and the Licensee, Natalia Quiroz, understands that all firearms, weapons, and ammunition must be locked separately and made inaccessible as per Title 22 Regulations. Stairs are barricaded with wood barricade fence at the bottom of the stair entry way.
The facility provides clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys for children. A current roster is on file, and required postings, including the Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan, and Notification of Parent’s Rights, are displayed. LPA discussed disaster drills being required at minimum every six months, documenting fire and earthquake on separate days.
