32 | Three of three confidential interviews denied the allegation. Interviewees consistently stated that restroom procedures require children to use the restroom one at a time and that staff maintain supervision at all times. Staff also reported that no children have come forward with concerns regarding inappropriate touching, conversations about private parts, or issues involving personal boundaries. In addition, two out of two confidential interviews denied witnessing any inappropriate interactions or behaviors between children.
Due to conflicting statements and limited evidence, LPA was unable to determine whether staff failed to prevent inappropriate interactions between children. This allegation may have occurred; however, it is not supported or proven by evidence. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report, appeal rights, and a Notice of Site Visit, were provided to Director Amber Polancic. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 consecutive days in a prominent location visible to families and caregivers.
