On 04/17/2024 at 12:45pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao conducted an inspection to inspect the Preschool Classroom as new furniture and equipment has arrived and the room is now set up and ready for children to use. On 12/23/2023, during closed hours, a SUV came through the building causing extensive damage requiring the facility to closed for repairs.

LPA conducted a tour of the entire facility and there is running water and operating sinks and toilets available for the children. The kitchen has been in operation as well. LPA conducted a tour of all preschool classrooms and the toddler option room to gather census. There are a total of 70 children in four classrooms during nap time supervised by five staff members. Facility is within proper staffing ratio and all staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility.

During today's inspection Director stated that the facility has only been using one class as their toddler option (18-36 months) rather than the two rooms as indicated on their license. LPA remeasured the Toddler Option Room #4 during today's inspection and the total square feet is 566.66 square feet and there are two sinks and one toilet available for the children in the room. There is a separate sink that the staff uses to prepare for food in the room. Director provided an updated sketch to identify the room numbers for all the classrooms today. Facility representative will be submitting an updated application to the department to reduce the capacity for the toddler option program.

Facility is within substantial compliance during today's inspection and the Preschool Classroom (Room #7) is clear to be use for children. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
