25 | On 12/19/2023 at 10:30AM Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Joelle Redding and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nancy Diaz conducted an office meeting with Site Director Meghan Stubbs. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss recent inspection findings on 11/02/23. On 10/26/23 a 2-year old child wandered out of the facility unsupervised.
The following regulations were reviewed and a copy provided to Ms. Stubbs, Section 101229, Responsibility for providing care and supervision.
Handouts provided today were: Child Care Centers Self-Assessment Guide; Best Practices - How to prevent children from leaving a child care facility due to a lack of supervision and Technical Support Program information.
Information was shared today regarding department's website that offers helpful videos for providers at https://ccld.childcarevideos.org/
LPM Redding explained it is important for facility to stay in compliance.
Technical Service Program (TSP) referral was offered today. Licensee stated that they will look into it and notify the LPA if they're interested to participate in the program.
Director Meghan Stubbs agree to operate the facility in full compliance with Title 22 and Health and Safety Code requirements.
Licensee was advised to regularly visit the Community Care Licensing WEB SITE: www.ccld.ca.gov for quarterly updates and regulations. During meeting Licensee was provided the Duty Line: 619-767-2248.
Exit interview was conducted with Ms. Megan Stubbs. A copy of this report and appeal rights were provided today.
Facility Representative, Meghan Stubbs was informed that repeated violations or failure to comply with licensing laws and regulations may result in administrative action taken by the Department. |
