13 | On 2/17/26 at 11:37 a.m.. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Renita Rodriguez made an unannounced complaint visit for the complaint received on 12/01/25. The purpose of this visit is to continue the investigation and deliver findings on the above referenced allegations. LPA was granted entry after identifying self, showing badge, and disclosing the reason for the visit. LPA met with Director Lindsay Sweet. LPA observed 54 children and 6 staff present in 4 classrooms.
Regarding allegations "Staff handled a day care child roughly, resulting in a bruise", and "Staff threatened a daycare child", LPA conducted interviews, reviewed relevant documentation, and facility observation was conducted. Evidence could not prove or disprove a child was handled in a manner that would cause bruising. LPA determined that facility staff have an accurate understanding of what children’s personal rights include, what form of interaction is and is not appropriate. |
