On 3/20/2024 @ 9:10AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nancy Diaz an unannounced inspection in reference to the above allegations. Observed present were 16 infants with appropriate staff-infant ratio. LPA toured the rooms with Madeline Howerton (Ass't). LPA interviewed the director, ass't director and 3 staff. LPA observed proper infant diapering procedure. Staff were observed washing their hands after each infant diaper change. Each staff were observed using diaper wipes. There were no medications accessible to children. A locked cabinet was observed in the classroom where medications are kept. Staff files reviewed today indicated that there were qualified staff in the classroom.
Based on information obtained, the allegations are determined to be unsubstantiated which means although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the above alleged violations of personal rights of the children occurred. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
