25 | On 10/18/2024, at 11:16am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Vicky Williamson and Jacqueline Macias conducted an unannounced case management inspection to confirm room number changes. LPA met with Director, Jimmie Drummond and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. LPA inspected and toured the indoor and outdoor of the facility. There were no school age children present during the time of inspection. This is a full day program which operates on a traditional school year schedule. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:30pm. It is noted that the room numbers for school age Room 8 and Room 9 have been changed to Room 10 and Room 11. The room numbers have change; however the original room locations remain the same. Director stated that the elementary school renumbered the rooms and that is the reason the room numbers changed. Director provided LPA with an updated facility sketch reflecting the new room numbers. LPA will update the facility’s license and provide a copy to the facility via mail.
Furniture and equipment are in good condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medications and other hazardous items were made inaccessible to children during time of inspection. Playground equipment is in safe condition. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and free of hazards. Facility has smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements. The last fire/disaster was conducted and documented on 9/24/2024.
No deficiencies cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Jimmie Drummond. Appeal Rights, and Notice of Site Visit were given. Notice of Site Visit is required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA observed Notice of Site Visit posted on inside of the school age room. |
