13 | On 2/25/25 at 8:40 a.m. Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Renita Rodriguez made an unannounced complaint visit for the complaint received on 12/17/24, for the purpose of delivering findings on the above referenced allegation. LPA was granted entry after identifying self, showing badge, and disclosing the reason for the visit. Ratios observed 27 children and 4 staff.
It was alleged “Licensee did not ensure that hazardous items were inaccessible to children”, LPA toured the facility 12/20/24, 2/12/25 and 2/25/25, hazardous items were locked, latched and inaccessible. Designated areas for staff to secure their personal belongings are in areas inaccessible to children in care. Items not safe for children are kept out of reach of children and or in locked cabinets. There is a kitchen located within the classroom. Food is prepared in this kitchen. The kitchen cabinets containing hazardous items are locked and latched. Safety gate placed for inaccessibility to the children in care and the kitchen area.
