On 10/24/2024 at 10:15am, an office meeting was conducted to discuss deficiencies cited on 8/28/2024. Present at the meeting were Licensee Representative, Cindy Rodriguez; Center Director, Dinorah Juarez; Licensing Program Managers (LPMs) Tulam Vu and Cynthia Biszant and Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Vicky Williamson, Shannan Williams and Jacqueline Macias.

On 8/28/2024 during a case management inspection, the facility was cited Type A, Section 101229(a)(1) Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision: A two-year-old daycare child was left on the playground inside of a locked gate without supervision for approximately 4 minutes. Facility was also cited three Type A citations within 12 months: Health Related Services and Personal Rights. It is noted that the director corrected all deficiencies in a timely manner. Director stated that all staff members have received training regarding the personal rights of children, supervision of children and reviewed videos on the CCL website regarding Supervision.



LPM discussed with Licensee Representative and Center Director the above deficiency, transitioning procedures and personal rights violations to prevent future violations which will lead to civil penalty assessment(s) and a Non-Compliance Conference (NCC).

LPM suggested that training be obtained from an outside vendors with the Center Director and all staff responsible for the care and supervision of children. Center Director stated that name to face procedures have been implemented, and additional checks of the playground when transitioning to and from the playground. Center Director stated that ongoing quarter training in the above areas, for staff by utilizing CCL's resources (CCLD website training videos and Title 22 Regulations) and a plan of operation related to these areas.

Technical Support Program (TSP) services/training was discussed with Licensing Representative and the Center Director during the meeting and advised Center Director to register for Provider Information Notifications (PINs). Licensee is interested in the TSP program.

Licensee Representative and Center Director were informed that repeated violations or failure to comply with licensing laws and regulations may result in administrative action taken by the Department. Licensee Representative and Center Director stated they understood and will ensure the facility complies with all regulations and laws governing Child Care Centers.
