32 | Furthermore, record review of pest control invoices showed that the facility had an increase in service visits for the month of December, which correlates with the time reports of pests were made. Director stated that pest control responds to reports in a timely manner, which corresponds with invoice records provided. LPA also observed bait stations around the perimeter of the facility, as well as glue traps in some of the rooms. Parents interviewed did not communicate any concerns with pests in the facility.
Although LPA observed that infant rooms had no recent reports of pests, upon interview of staff and record review, LPA was unable to determine, whether or not the measures in place are sufficient to mitigate the presence of rodents at facility. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview was conducted and this report was reviewed with Director, Ana King. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) was provided. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. |
