Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted a complaint investigation visit to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA was greeted at the front door by Licensee/Owner, Sandra (Sandy) George and was granted entry after identifying herself and disclosing the reason for her visit. There were 18 preschool children and 4 staff present today.

The Department’s investigation consisted of staff and parent interviews and facility file record reviews. It was alleged that on or about 4/3/24, staff did not separate a sick child from other children. LPA conducted parent and staff interviews and there was no information found to corroborate with the allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

This agency also investigated the allegation of unqualified staff. LPA conducted facility file reviews, staff interviews, and did not find any corroborating evidence towards the allegation of unqualified staff at the facility.

An exit interview was conducted with Director/Owner, Sandra (Sandy) George and a copy of the report and appeal rights was provided.

A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
