On 10/1/24 at 10:30 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) inspection. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure the citation issued on 2/27/23 was corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Ashley Enwia and was led on a tour the facility. There were ten (10) children and one (1) staff member present.
 
On 1/3/23, facility had a faucet (OO) in the School Age classroom that was planned to be replaced and was in the process of flushing. The department was waiting for results of a re-test and was pending another inspection and report of the results. On 9/9/24 Director advised the Department that the faucet OO was a drinking fountain and has been capped off and no longer in use. LPA observed on this date, 10/1/24 the drinking fountain OO was capped off and Director stated it is in the process of being removed. Director stated that children bring water bottles from home and the facility has a portable water dispenser if needed to re-fill bottles.

The citation issued on 2/27/23 has been corrected.

No deficiencies cited.

A copy of the report and appeal rights (LIC 9058) was provided to Director. LPA observed Licensee post LIC9213 – Notice of Site Visit and Licensee was advised this notice is to be posted for 30 days from today’s date. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

 An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Ashley Enwia.
