25 | On 05/20/2025, at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Oscar Picazo conducted an unannounced Required 3 year random inspection and met with Licensee Eunice and Israel Vazquez. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted and granted entry into the facility by Licensee. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted permission to tour the facility by the Licensee. The tour was led by the Licensee Eunice Vazquez. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure the home is in compliance with the standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. There were 3 day care children present at the time of this inspection. Also present during the inspection is Licensee's niece who is also her assistant, Eunice Gaona Zamora. Licensee accompanied LPA throughout the inspection of this single story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. LPA observed a mobile trailer on the lower level west side yard of the property. Licensees stated Israel and his wife occupy it as their living quarters. The following areas are used for child care: Living room, hall bathroom, driveway, west side patio (primary play area), front yard, and east side patio. Off-limits areas are: The kitchen, bedroom 1, bedroom 2, stairs leading to the basement, the basement which includes bedroom 3 and bathroom 2, and back yard. These areas are made inaccessible with safety gates, door knob, gated fence, covers and latching gates. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
The fire extinguisher is rated 3-A:40-B:C and is mounted on the wall in the kitchen, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors met requirements and are operational. Poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds and other hazardous items are locked and made inaccessible. The home has a fenced front yard and west side patio, that are used for outdoor play and activity. Licensee stated she and her assistant provide direct supervision at all times when children are conducting any outside activities. Licensee has an ample amount of children's toys, outside play equipment, books, and non-toxic child safe arts & crafts materials available.
