13 | On September 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Diana Sanchez and Luigi Gargaro made an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver the complaint investigation findings for the above allegation. LPA met with Esperanza Martinez and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. Current census is 5.
This agency has investigated the above allegation. During the investigation, LPA interviewed licensee, staff, daycare children, child nutrition program case worker and daycare parents.
It was alleged that licensee does not ensure that daycare children are adequately fed. The licensee and staff denied allegation, advising that they follow the food program guidelines and weekly menu. During interview with LPA, children disclosed that they like the food facility provides and are provided with extra food if requested. Parents interviewed did not disclose any concerns or issues relating to food service or with the facility or staff. During facility inspections conducted on 07/11/25 and 07/24/25, LPA observed a sufficient food supply. Additionally, LPA observed children eating soup with meat and vegetables during lunch meal service. |
